I am sure Calzaghe is meaning he would move up in weight.. not expect B-HOP to move down... On the surface this seems like agreat fight.. but in reality I would predict a boring war of attrition.. and I wouldn't even dare try to predict who would win..

Calzaghe is dying for a big money fight.

Calzaghe had no interest in moving to Lt Heavy earlier this year.

He was demanding Glen Johnson drop to a catch weight.

Now he sees a semi retired 42 year old Hopkins and is licking his lips.

No way this happens. Hopkins has no interest in fighting a homer like Calzaghe a weight class below the one he just became undisputed at.

He's looking for some Heavyweight action, or he'll stay retired.

And why not? He's a top 10 P4P fighter, he's the longest-reigning champion in the world and he's spent most of his career being turned down by the big names.

The Blow has been offering out guys the whole time... only difference is, before now these threads wouldn't have been taken seriously, or he would have just been dismissed as "Cal***gy". Not so ***gy now, huh?

            I don't think B-Hop should fight again.

I figure if Bernard really wants to help his legacy then he would fight Calzaghe. A win would be big for both.

Thats a pretty unbiased comment >.> That being said, watch the ****ing olympic fight..... and youll see why you comment holds no weight what so ever. He DOMINATED 100% DESIMATED the korean. The one judge and I believe its quoted, he didnt want to the guy to be THAT embarassed in his home town giving him the fight thinking the other judges would score it for Roy and hed win anyhow... turns out it didnt work that way. It was the SINGLE biggest robbery in all of boxing imho. It was that bad.

I agree with you. To fight Joe he'd have to drop weight for what? A super mid title? Hopkins 20 defense at Middle and was at one point the undisputed linear champ. Also Undisputed champ at Lt. Heavy. Joe says this now when he knows it wont happen. Tell Joe if he wants B-Hop that bad move up to heavy and face him there after Bernard beats Maskaev.

Obviously you didn't see the fight that Roy was ripped off...it was one-sided...even the Korean guy looked like he wanted to shoot himself because of the shame
