But I heard he now lives straight moderate life.
No more cheech for that man.
But I cant really blame him. At that age, was coke renaissance in America, and everybody was doing it, and the onlything that was preventing, was money or lack of it.
Nevertheless, hawk is the greatest 140 pounder ever.

That was kinda weird, the last punch didn't even land. But he wasn't there.

you are on point on that comment. it is also important that 'angel dust' has nothing to do with athletic performance, absolutely nothing. it only affects your athletic performance once you are actually 'off' the stuff.

I thought it was sad to see him in that state but that's what usually happens when the combination of drug abuse and the addiction of boxing gets to you. Boxing glory is a drug itself and I think Aaron wanted to feel that high again like Ray Leonard did, and Thomas Hearns who is appearantly boxing again at age 48. Pernell Whitaker went through a similar phase and his skills started to erode when he became fixed on coke. These situations are so complex and there can be so many reasons why these athletes do the things they do, but it is quite sad.

You can clearly see Aaron making the sign of the cross at least twice while he is on the ground taking the count. He was OBVIOUSLY at a different place in his life at the time of that fight

Young still might have won in Aaron's prime, he wasn't exactly a slouch, and no one truly knows how Aaron could've handles someone like a Curry, or McCrory at the higher weight.
