the same way that Tony can get away with making WW when everyone knows the guy's huge for that division....?

tony could always go up in weight...but we all saw what happened with that idea.

I guess that's smart management too....

What should also be pointed out is that Margarito is a Jr. Middle fighting at welterweight, but that doesn't seem to be a problem to you...

You weren't talking about Williams or Cintron, you were talking about Floyd and his 'smart management'...I made a similar comparison with Margarito.

Personally I don't care, if Tony makes weight, he makes weight. But you can't nitpick about Floyd's choice in opponents when Tony's fighting at a smaller weight and skipping on his mandatories.

nowayjose, how can you say Tonys fighting at a smaller weight? I don't get it. I could name a few fighters that have done what you are acussing Margarito of doing.

I can name them too. But that doesn't change the fact that Tony's fighting at a smaller weight. He's the one who moved up to fight Santos at a heavier weight and that was a disaster. So does Tony perservere at that higher weight...?

No, he goes right back to WW. So yes, he's fighting at a smaller weight.

And as far Tony being the best WW...he must have some info I don't because looking at his resume, I fail to see how he reaches that conclusion.

There isn't a single guy that Tony's fought that Floyd wouldn't destroy. And if we did indeed swap places, with Floyd claiming he's the best WW with Tony's record, you would throw tomatoes at him.
