With the rumor that Nike signed Pacqiaoa will next weeks thread title be, "did Nike make Pacquiao famous?"
No, the only thing that was, was a ******...****** manegerial desicion. Marquez has everything to beat pacman and his management took this matchup instead. He didint do it because hes a road warrior, he did it because his team are a bunch of ****in morons.

It was a ****** manegerial desicion, but you still have to acknowledge his road warriro mentallity, he felt he couldn't lose no matter where he fought, or who was judging, that a road warrior, regardless how ****** a desicion it was.

Road Warrior?! You are fooling yourself! Marquez only had 1 fight overseas and that's only because no one would put money to see him fight in the U.S.A. Look how much he got to get beat by Chris John in his country, 30K. That's how much Manny Pacquiao's sparring partners make for working with him.

Road warriors are Winky Wright and Glencoffe Johnson. Marquez IS NOT. He was forced to and was put in that situation becuz he had NOTHING. No money to support his figts, no titles (cuz they were stripped) to use on bargaining. LMAO!

            Mijo!

You trying to school me, LOL!

Take at look at who you used to back up your claim. Winky Wright and Glencoffe Johnson. These guys are the ones who had nothing to lose, nobody cared about them so they went where ever a paycheck was. Don't try and paint Winky and Glenn into somthing they weren't. If you want to give credit to those guys, then it's even easier to give credit to Marquez. Too bad you're blinded by hate.

Nothing to lose? Winky Wright was defending his championships OVERSEAS in Eangland, AFrica etc! He had alot to lose, his titles and his good record.

Marquez is the one who had nothing to lose. NO BELTS cuz he was stripped (he fought Chris for Chris' WBA title) and definitely to earn bit of money cuz in U.S no promoters wanted to book him.

Johnson's nickname is "Road Warrior" so I don't know why you saying he is not and Marquez is. Johnson win titles overseas, GETS ROBBED over and over and still do it.

Exact same situation, nobody knew who Pacquiao was till he fought Barrera.
of course the name barrera helped, but pacquiao made himself famous by his own doing, by beating barrera so bad.

and that's all there is to it! You become famous by beating someone famous, NOT BY DRAWING with them and in the eyes of some/many LOSING to that fighter.

Tarver became famous for KOing Roy Jones Jr.

Pacquiao became famous for KOing Barrera.

that's why this thread is neccessary. I made it so everyone knows that the only reason Marquez is famous is because he drew with Pacquiao, who many believe DOES NOT LET his opponents reach the final round. This is NOT THE RIGHT WAY to become famous.

and Marquez never should've belonged in P4P list for drawing with Manny. He has beaten no one significant.

I guess your term of road warrior is only used to certain fighters.

Winky fought over seas cause nobody gave a **** about him, and thats where the money was at. Lets see him fight over sees now, yeah sure.

Funny you want to give credit to those guys but not Marquez, ****en hater.
