Did Pacquiao make Juan Manuel Marquez Famous?

    Everybody, r u sure? In my previous job, there were a lot of boxing fans. I asked them about JMM, most of them didn't who he is.

      If you didn't know of Marquez then you didn't follow the lower boxing weight classes. Marquez stepped in the scene right away he was a top prospect to look at, trained by Berstein usally automaticly get you attention because he develops talent. So yes, if you were a boxing fan and followed the little guys you knew who Marquez was, especially if you were from the West Coast.

        Pac became popular because of his will to give it all, whether win, lose, or draw.

        Remember, Pac was an underdog and expected to lose against MAB. But Pac dominated MAB.

          We already posted about this in another thread. Didn't u say JMM fought in the Forum? U cant' really say that JMM is known by EVERYBODY in boxing. If promoters and managers, yes he is probably known, But with boxing fans, not everybody.

              Just cause YOU didnt know about him doesnt mean nobody knew about him, he was already known and was on HBO way before the pac fight...
