Whether he does or doesn't is irrelevent to me. The significant of 50-0 is that it would best Marciano's record of 49-0. However, he would have to retire directly afterwords to truly beat Marciano's record. Many, many fighters have gone 50-0 or better in history before encountering their first loss. Julio Cesar Chavez was 89-0 before he received his first loss. So it's not like he'd be the first fighter since Marciano to do it. Going 50-0 doesn't amount to anything historically significant; it's retiring with that record and then never making an unsuccessful combeback that would give him the new record.
You know, if he could achieve that record, I could see him retiring and doing it. He seems like a humble enough guy who doesn't care about fame and money beyond enough to live comfortably. If he makes 50-0 he has the right mindset to go out on top IMO.
Odds of him getting that far without a blemish are unlikely though. I think Wlad, Peter, and possibly Maskaev would knock him out.
