How hard is it to start making weight months in advance as opposed to weeks? There is one answer to this whole mess that will do nothing but improve the sport. FIGHT MORE OFTEN. FIGHT 3-4 TIMES A YEAR. STAY IN SHAPE.

It's not that simple. You can't just be active and expect these guys to take the weight off. Having the weigh-in at noon by fight night would be sufficient. You wouldn't see fighters weight being blown up out of proportions.

how could u say something like that? corrales and castillo gave their lives up for the sport. For almost 10 months out of a year, they are isolated away from family and friends so that they can concentrate on their training.

They haveing nothing BUT respect for the sport. And after all thats happened i would expect u of all people to understand that.

if a fireman runs into a building and saves 10 people but doesn't show up the next couple times there's a call would you still respect him?

I had to chuckle a little bit when I heard that Corrales didnt make weight. I wonder why I havent seen a bunch of threads about how terrible of a cheater that Corrales is. Maybe I havent looked hard enough.
