I thought that was close 14-13 either way. Now how the **** did the judges had Casa winning by 5 points and the other one 3 points which included a bonus kd ?

Dammit, that's just another crazy scoring.

because the judges, at least the press row *******, were sympathetic to casamayor and the deal with the weigh-in.

either way, i'm some what used to bad scoring - which is not a good sign.

I thought Casamayor clearly won that fight. Corrales wasnt doing enough, and when he did finally do something he got all kinds of credit for it because it was just more than he was doing before that. Casamayor was tatooing Corrales with lefts all night long. I scored the fight 8 rounds to 4 for Casamayor and cant even see how someone had Corrales winning to be honest. The announcers made the fight seem closer than it was I thought. Beautiful performance by el cepillo.

I have to give Casamayor credit for taking this fight. A lot of was claiming hes washed up and has been fading lately. Then Corrales comes in over weight and he takes the fight anyway. Then he wins the fight. Props to Casamayor.

I also dont think Corrales should retire. He said he might, that he has to talk about it with his family. I would like to see how he does at 140 or 147.

I think Casamayor should fight David Diaz next. He said he wants to fight Barrera, that could be interesting. I have a feeling that might happen, Barrera going for the 135 belt.

Well im out people. Time to go party it up and then its off to Miami tomorrow.

        PEACE

        ..................i shall return
Casamayor did take the fight he called out Corrales

I had it 114-113 Corrales, but I will admit some bias in that after the hilarity of Casamayor crying about being fouled I found it harder to give him credit.

As for the KD, I scored as Legit because of the way it happeded. You can clearly see that Casamayor was TRYING to step on the foot of Corrales to anchor him for a straight left. Unfortunately he reached and got tagged right on the ear. The punch then slid across the back of his head, whch is why it looked "controversial".

I thought the first 3 rounds were key in scoring the fight because neither fighter really did enough to take the rounds, ao I absoutely have no dispute with Casamayor getting the nod.

i had Corrales narrowly winning (i think something like 115-112), i have no problem with Casamayor winning, but no way he won 116-111, that's a joke scorecard..

i also had cassamayor winning only by a point but the two judges saw it otherwise giving him at least a 5-point margin. i think a 1 point margin is fair enough coz it was really a close fight, but a 5-point is way too much!

i beg to disagree, it was clearly a slip when it was replayed in slo-mo. must have been the angles but that angle showed it was just a slip!
