Man you're really jumping on me for this and I'm not sure why. I think I really offended you with that Calzaghe nonsense and the way I'm always saying his win over Lacy isn't as big as people make it out to be. I just made a statement to start the thread and actually thought it was funny. But I know some of you really worry about the health of these fighters as far as weighing in goes. I am not seriously making excuses for Corrales, but even if I was how does it even compare to:

1) Wladimir Klitschko's excuses for his losses

2) Roy Jones saying the weight made him look bad against Tarver

3) Castillo unable to make 135lbs between October 2005 and June 2006

I mean there are so many other excuses that don't even compare to the one I halfheartedly made here. Castillo failed to weigh in at 135 TWICE to the same opponent within 8 months for crying out loud. And who cares if I bashed Kid Achilles? He said something very ****** and I called him out and proved him wrong. The difference is he still isn't admitting he's wrong when I am admitting I said something ****** so why are you defending him over me? Why are you putting up avatars to make it personal with me? What have I ever done to you?

Incidentally, as regards this, I was always saying on here that Lacy had exploitable weaknesses, had never been in with a competitive opponents and was severely untested for a beltholder. But I got told I was saying that because "you're just a Brit."

But see I get insulted when people who think they know boxing claim a fighter like Peter could knock out a fighter like Toney. See I don't mind if you don't know anything about boxing and make a pick just for the hell of it. But when you analyze a fight and try to explain to people that you know something and you're picking Peter to KO Toney, you shouldn't be taken seriously. Because anyone who knows boxing knew Peter wasn't going to stop the most skilled heavyweight on the planet who also happens to have one of the best chins p4p in the sport. To me that is insulting.

When my favorite fighter doesn't make weight after calling out another fighter for not doing it, that's something nobody can predict nor foresee happening. And I don't feel sorry for Corrales at all on this one, so don't act like I'm crying over it. You get what you deserve and if Corrales gets knocked out tonight, he had it coming.

Last thing: how come Jack could make a thread like this and everyone would just laugh but when I do it, it's all "YOU'RE A MORON", "YOU'RE A LITTLE KID WHO'S NEVER WATCHED BOXING" and trash like that? If I know nothing about boxing, how was I winning the Prediction League that everybody bailed on? I mean that's really our only real measure of credibility on this site because people tend to forget things so easily here.

My only response to this crybaby-ass post is this....Hank Kaplan also picked Peter to win by a knock-out; and if you think you know more about boxing than Kaplan....then, well...that speaks for itself.
