you can't defend Corrales' actions so I'll man up and call him a hypocrite. it's absolutely pathetic to get pissed at Castillo and sue him for not making weight and then do the same thing. What I don't get about Corrales or Castillo is that if you know you aren't going to make weight, why don't you tell somebody? Corrales is just as bad as Castillo and I won't really try to defend him. and yes the avatar will come down, though I still consider Castillo a coward for not making weight twice.
why aren't these guys starting to lose the weight months and months before the fight? Castillo knew in October he was going to face Corrales again but couldn't make the weight by June????? THAT'S 8 MONTHS TO LOSE THE WEIGHT!!!!!!! Corrales, hypocrite that he is, only had 3 months to do it, which is still no excuse. Though he is my favorite fighter, I honestly won't feel for him if Corrales gets KO'ed tonight, because he deserves it. There, I told it like it is.Comment

If Casamayor is cool with it then its okay.
Yes Corrales made a mistake but losing to Casamayor will ruin his career as for Castillo it better to get sued that to loss with an advantge because Corrales was planing to box his way.
Corrales career is on the line but Castillo is back even when he did it twice with Corrales.
Casamayor have the right to cancel the fight anytime he want and get sue Corrales. but he knows its the best time to beat Corrales because he look like a skelton and it more probably Casamayor KOing him.Comment

Well, Corrales has shot himself in the foot on this one because if he wins, people will say, "So what? You had a huge weight advantage" which is absolutely true. If he loses, he gets injury added to insult and should get out of boxing. This is just inexplicable behavior on his part unless he really is playing the system like I suggested (jokingly of course). He's in a no win situation now, but he put himself there. Maybe he'll go in there and KO Casamayor and never worry about him again like Castillo did to him this time last year. Maybe that's all this is. But who gives a damn now. He ruined a great fight.Comment

Corrales accepted the second fight when Castillo came overweight and Castillo was punished by not getting the titles from Corrales. In this sitaution Corrales title should be vacanted for sure.
If Casamayor dont wanna fight an overweight Corrales he could sue him because there is laws, rules and regulation if you do not follow them you should be puinshed if you where Corrales or Castillo.
but because Castillo did it twice he got the suspendsion and the fine. I think a fine for Corrales like $300,000 or more would be reasonable I dont know but he showed be fine and regulated to fight as a lightweight.
This year there is many wieght problems for fighter let this show other fighters if they dont obey the rules.Comment
