Margarito didn't have no opponent after williams called him out. Get your facts straight.

This is exactly what people were saying about Tony when Floyd didn't want to fight him.

Margarito's resume and stature isn't so high that he can dismiss Williams because of his resume.

Matthyesse was a very big puncher, and Williams walked through it and came back with huge fire. That was an impressive win.

For a guy who's career win is Cintron, Margarito isn't in a position where he can say his #1 contender hasn't earned the right to fight him.

He has, and it's a fight that makes sense for Margarito in other aspects such as fighting a noteworthy opponent and taking care of his mandatory defense, which he hasn't done in a year.

You said williams isn't that good right? well how is he not good where he is the mandatory challenger? while clottey is the number 5 contender and all of a sudden he is really good and more proven? that's why clottey is the guy that margarito and arum decide to pick? lol come on man.

That's the part that gets me.

People try to excuse his actions by suggesting Williams isn't deserving.

                    But Clottey is?

Williams isn't a big enough challenge so that justifies taking on a lesser challenge?

Very well said, matty was also undefeated and had the record of 25 wins with 24 ko's when he fought williams and williams took those punches well.
