  • "From Pillar to Post" - Luis Collazo: The Gift and the Curse

Damn, that was a damn fine article! LOL, lemme stop blowing myself up. Collazo is a very good fighter, and not alot of people are going to want to face him. Of course Floyd Fan is going to try to diminish Collazo's presence because he's part of the blind faithful who invest their souls in press releases and fails to look towards the independant media. Don't worry, you're not alone.

I dunno about that, he beat Rivera who is now top 3 in a higher weight division. Many also feel that he won the Hatton fight. The thing with alot of casual fans is they only go for the top guy, the number one fighter in the division not taking into account that he probably got alot more chances than a lesser known fighter. The true fans are the ones that look deeper and find the truth in the circumstances.

the guy has 2wice got his chance, he got lucky gettin the rivera fight an he lost to hatton end of

its been months and in most interviews he still talks about it like it was lewis-holyfield 1,

he is a medium risk zero reward fight

he lost his last fight has no belt name recognition or money to bring to the table and has no star potential

You should've cited the Mayweather chat transcript you quoted ver batim there. I can assure you that most respected pundits not named Floyd Fan who assess the sport without an agenda do not share your viewpoint.

You should write an article countering my statements if you feel so strongly about your stance.

While I do believe that Collazo lost to Hatton(not as much Hatton beating Collazo), he is still the kind of opponent that is veyr hard to fight against. And Floyd already proved that he is more of a commercial champ, then anything else.
