Damn fine article indeed. (I'm a college professor and hard to please but you've learned your chops quickly).
On the topic: I'm not inclined to underestimante this kid. He would be a handful for any of the people Floyd_Fan mentioned. I think Cotto would be a great opponent for him, and there would be incentive on both sides. My money would be on Luis and I don't mean that as an insult to Cotto. The winner of the Floyd-Baldy fight, however, will be looking for big money fights and Collazo cannot supply that.

And, while boxing, certainly got commercialised over the past 30 years or so, it still has an element that others call legacy. And embarking on the so'called "commercial way of fighting" is more of an excuse then anything else.
Ask me this, if SRR lived today, would he avoid Collazo?
      Or would Duran avoid Collazo?
      Or maybe Hearns?

        Thank you very much Profesor

I'm a college student myself so I know how to write papers that professors like. I don't even like mentioning Mayweather in articles anymore because most of the guys who are in the 147 division Mayweather doesn't want any part of. Cotto would be a very good fight for him, as well as Margarito. All props due to Iceman Scully, he really put it down in the article. He's the one who put it over the top.

How did you like the way I cited sources? I think I could still use some work on that. Overall I think it was good tho.

Boxing just isn't the way it used to be. Now it's all about paper champions, and by paper I mean the one in your pocket.

Alright, you tell me which one of the following fighters you can envision Mayweather facing in the future. And if not, you can enter in Pretty Girl's alibi next to the name:

                      Miguel Cotto
                      Antonio Margarito
                      Carlos Quintana
                      Luis Collazo
                      Vivian Harris

These are all top guys in his weight range, why wont he face them?
