That is going a little over board 95/5 but he will definately make more than Floyd. Floyd is nowhere near the draw Oscar is. Oscar could fight Joe Blow and he would sale out arenas. Tito draws pretty well but he still doesn't draw the way Oscar does. Hell no one does. Oscar is the cash cow and thats why everyone wants to fight him. He brings the crowds and the money. 70/30 for Tito may have been low I would say more like 60/40. You have to remember Tito got dominated his last fight and he has been retired for how long now? Floyd would be making more money than he ever has but he's not gonna get 50/50 from Oscar. he need s to go ahead and get that thought out of his head. Floy always like to be the one to try and strong arm in negotiation, and that just isn't gonna happen with Oscar.

I'm not sure if the comment was true, but I read somewhere that Oscar said that even a 70/30 split would make Tito more money than he has previously made, so Felix has no negotiation rights.


Oscar is on Tyson's level for bringing in fans, but I wonder if he is going to have to "Give" a little like Tyson did for Lewis...I am not sure about Evander's numbers previously, but Evander made a lot in the Tyson fights too.

Your EXACTLY right. Oscar averages about 20 mil a fight, there is no way Floyd is gonna make that kinda money.

I think if he is offered 15 million he should take it: not only is it 15 MILLION, but the fans that Oscar draws will get to see Floyd, and maybe those fans will transfer over to Floyd when Oscar leaves.

I still say that Floyd should drop his attitude and become more like Ray Leonard...if he did this, I could see his popularity go up...he could make some money doing commercials and other promos.
