did he stop using to brawl and finish strong or was he forced to stop using it. from what i could remember Mosley was countering off of that jab effectively, not so much in the 2nd fight though.

floyd isn't a volume puncher, he is an accurate concise puncher. he is great counter puncher as well. he has great timing and that jab of Oscar can be timed as it has been timed when he was in his prime, see Whitaker fight.

Mosley has more power than Floyd and wasn't able to ever hurt or put him down. If Floyd tries to get into that type of fight with Oscar it will be to his disadvantage. Oscar and Flloyd will fight, there is too much money involved and he has already come out this week and said that the Trinidad fight is dead and will not happen, which I knew was never gonna happen anyway. He has gone as far as telling Richard Schafer top ignore Kings calls because he is through with dealing with them.
Mosley is a head hunter as well. U gotta agree atleast that Floyd is a more all around fighter than Mosley. And if Mosley was able to withstand jab so can floyd. Oscar cant sit back and throw jabs all fight, Floyd will counter that more easily as the fight goes on. His best bet is too get in close and try an brawl and sneak that left hook. Im tryna tell yall, the body work that Floyd will put on Oscar would be the deciding factor.

i know he said the fight was off, but he also said he might retire still. if you wanted to fight again, I dont think u need damn near a whole yr to decide if your going to cont. to fight. I hope it does happen though so we cna see if the goldenboy is really that golden.

I will agree that Floyd is a better all around fighter now. The only thing I think Floyd has on Mosley when Mosley was in his prime was his boxing ability. I'm sorry I don't agree that Floyd will effectively go the body enough to wear him down and knock him out when guys that were a lot bigger punchers than Floyd weren't able to. The reason Oscar wanted the longer layoff was because Oscar is a little older and he wanted time to be 100%. I wated to see the fight sooner but if it means both of them coming in 100% and being in the best shape I can deal with waiting and not have them coming in in half ass shape. The other thing that you have to remember is that Floyd Sr. probably knows just about everything ther is to know about Floyd and he will come up with some kind of gameplan that will help Oscar. He learned everything he knows from his father.

You Floydboys are like the Tyson freaks who still think he's gonna win a title, just completely delusional.
where have you been? he's tried to make fights with bigger guys including dlh and they turned him down. you come in every floyd thread and post bull**** you hater, and by the way zab just won the first 3 out of 4 rds. he was far from beating floyd up jackass and floyd owned him the rest of the way through.

accuracy along with accumulation has more impact than a big punch. When u can beat somebody up like that, that not only kills them physically but mentlaly as well. Oscar has never been beat up like that, but I think Floyd will do it to him with body shots. In actuality Floyd SR taught him the basics, the shoulder roll and the righthand, roger is the one that actuality taught him and bred him into the fighter he is today. Floyd SR had got locked up and roger was the one that was with him and training him. So if anyone really knew some kind of secret to beating Floyd, it'll most likely be Roger not Floyd SR. And after all Roger a better trainer than him anyways.

being undefeated doesnt make you great..

fighting all the top guys in your weight class can make him great

beating them would make him even greater

Mosley is NOT a head hunter..he was crushing Dela to the body

Mosley uses effective body shots to set of shots to the head

Every fighter is bounded by physical limitations dude. So surely PBF will be beaten if he still goes up. In fact, is the guy is very much beatable in his present weight class.
