What if Floyd.........

Your right cort I don't think much of Zab. I think he has always been very overrated. Oscar is a much better all around fighter than Zab. ALot smarter and more skilled overall I beleive. He is mentally tough and has the ability to make adjustments during a fight. Something we know Zab can't do, which is why he resorts to tactics like he pulled in the Floyd fight. Zab is nowhere near Oscars class. Your right Tito isn't the technician but if tito couldn't hurt Oscar you can't tell me Floyd will. Obviously Floyd is faster than B-Hop but I'm not sure he is the better technician and doesn't have the experience that Hop brings. It remains to be seen if Floyd will carry that speed to 154, he already looks as if he has lost some of it at 147 and is already a small welter. I made the point erlier about guys moving up in weight that rely on speed. Look at what happened to Shane at 154 and in his prime may have been faster than Floyd.i dont think he will dominate Oscar for 12 rounds straight, but I do believe he has the advantage even at 154. U say if he catches floyd with that left hook, Floyd is goin down. he might go down if caught, but I doubt he gets caught. Now i know u don't care much for Zab, but if Zab was unable to land a high % of punches what makes u think Oscar will. Zab is way faster and prolly hits just as hard maybe a lil less hard. oscar doesn't have the handspeed to land that left hook. he would have to set it up and out think Floyd to land that punch. i dont think he can do that. Also Tito is not the technician that Floyd or b-Hop is. That breaking u down systematically is what makes them great. Also Floyd is light years faster than B-Hop and just as good as a technician, if not better.Comment

Oscar has good chin, i cant doubt that at all, and tito was hitting him in tha t chin and testing it, but what Tito doesn't do is go to the body well if at all. From what i can recall, he hardly went their effectively. Floyd would go their and be effective with. Like the guy was saying earlier with floyd able to land consistently and oscar stamina issues down the stretch, it's not to unlikey that he could get TKO. Afterall, B-hop put him down with a body blow, imagine Floyd hitting him with those kinda shots all night.Your right cort I don't think much of Zab. I think he has always been very overrated. as far as Shane being faster, i don't know. It would be close, I think Floyd handspeed is still faster though. U say Floyd already has lost speed moving up, well he only looked slow against the boxer u love to hate which is considered one of the fastest and gifted fighters in the sport. And he still beat him to the punch. Shane just isn't the boxer that Floyd is and that is why he struggled at 154. His biggest weakness was his strength in lower classes, his power. floyd doesn't fight to KO a fighter, he breaks u down and looks for the KO when you are weak and vulnerable. For that a reason alone, I think he will be succesful at 154, now 160 i dont know. I beleive if he goes to 160, that is where he will get his L.Comment

I think PBF could hold his own at 154, but beyond that is getting risky, naturally any great fighter who goes to high in weight is gonna lose, why is Mayweather any different. As for DLH at 154 I'd have to agree that it I don't think he'd win every round, I think the first few rounds would probably go to DLH, then Mayweather will adjust, then DLH would too, this fight would be a great one I have no doubt, & I wouldn't be that shocked if DLH handed PBF his first loss.Comment

I don't think Floyd would be able to land to Oscars body as effectively the entire fight as you think. Maybe you forget that Oscar has a pretty damn good stiff jab that he would use to keep Floyd off of him. Oscar Probably still has onw of the stiffest and best jabs at 33. I don't think that weight Floyd could move to 154 and KO Oscar. I don't even thin that is a possibility. The difference when B-Hop did it was that Oscar was moving up to a weight class that he was clearly to small for and didn't belong at middleweight. At 154 Oscar is the bigger stronger fighter in a weight class he is comforatable in. For Floyd to win, he would have to use his movement and try to outbox Oscar. If hestands in with Oscar he runs the risk of getting caught and knocked out himself and if Oscar catches him Floyd will go down.Oscar has good chin, i cant doubt that at all, and tito was hitting him in tha t chin and testing it, but what Tito doesn't do is go to the body well if at all. yeah he does got a nice jab, but it wasn't able to keep mosley off him the whole fight and Mosley was able to get in and be effective. That's make me think that Floyd will be able to do it as well. yeah he is stronger, but that is null and void when it comes to a superb boxer. if Oscar was on the same boxing level as Floyd skill wise, I would agree more. I just don't think he is, I think only winky is at this point in time. But only time will tell, hopefully, we'll be able to find out may 5th. i don't think Oscar will fight though. i think he is retired.Comment

Yeah but Oscar stopped using it. I think that's a big misconception that Mosley adjusted and closed the gap on Oscar, Oscar just stopped boxing and tried to mix it up with Mosley to finish the fight strong. I think that if Oscar kept his distance, the volume of punches alone would be enough to win the first half of the fight because Floyd isn't a volume puncher, he likes to sit back and pick his shots.yeah he does got a nice jab, but it wasn't able to keep mosley off him the whole fight and Mosley was able to get in and be effective. Check Hollisters post. He makes a good point that the reason Mosley was able to do that was because he stopped using it and tried to brawl with him.yeah he does got a nice jab, but it wasn't able to keep mosley off him the whole fight and Mosley was able to get in and be effective. Mosley has more power than Floyd and wasn't able to ever hurt or put him down. If Floyd tries to get into that type of fight with Oscar it will be to his disadvantage. Oscar and Flloyd will fight, there is too much money involved and he has already come out this week and said that the Trinidad fight is dead and will not happen, which I knew was never gonna happen anyway. He has gone as far as telling Richard Schafer top ignore Kings calls because he is through with dealing with them.Comment
