Yeah, calling out Roy Jones for the best part of half a decade, and agreeing terms with Hopkins (only for BHop to run away afterwards) are the actions of somebody hiding from the big fights.

He was calling out Roy Jones from '95 through '04, so that's about a decade.

It WAS possible this time around. Beyer had agreed on place money and terms - everything but the date. Only he couldn't make the early september date Calzaghe INSISTED on.
Highly ironic that in the end Calzaghe ends up not fighting in september at all. But fighting on the exact same date that Beyer is now fasing Kessler.

It may be just bad luck as you say.
But with all the failled negotiations throughout his carrer, It does leave me with the impression that Warren simply is not willing to compromise to the extend needed. And THAT's why today ppl are still questioning Calzaghe's status p4p or even ATG material.

Warren has frequently accused possible opponents of outpricing themselves. But with Warren's record in mind and considering Calzaghe's obvious talent, i question WHO is really doing the out-pricing.

Yes, given Warren's record, I conceade you have every right to feel the way you do.
