actually the one he hit frasier with was a glancing blow to the side of his head, imagine if foreman was accurate!Comment

I watched it earlier. Taped most of it. Frazier went down like it was nothing. Went down and hopped right back up and the same thing again. LMAO. That Hearns KO on that spanish guy(forgot his name) they showed in the beginning where he spun around was hilarious.Comment

Joe had tremendous heart, amazing he kept getting back up..."F" Philly and the hype about "Rocky", Joe was the "heart" of Philly...
I saw the Jackson Ko before, brutal KO
They just showed Foreman getting knocked out...this fight pisses me off because George had so much untapped potential that wasn't used at this point; his trainers failed him.Comment

If he was just better trained like you said. I disagree that Foreman of the 90s would have beat Foreman of the 70s. Sure he was much smarter, but in the 70s he was much quicker.Comment

Foreman was smarter in his second career, but physically he wasn't the same
George may have not been the best at pacing himself in his "prime", but the pace he set for himself against Ali, was not his "normal" pace, it was faster than usual...His form actually looked worse than usual...I know George wasn't the most "beautiful" of punchers, lol, but those punches against Ali looked terrible, maybe because of the fatigue, I'm not sure.
I really want to go through all of his fights leading up to Ali to see about his form...I want to see if there was a decline in using his jab as wellLast edited by Abe Attell; 10-01-2006, 01:37 AM.Comment
