I don't know about an IQ test, but Reg Gutteridge writes about Tyson taking an educational assessment examination for a week when he first went to prison, and the "embarrassing results showed that he(Tyson) had the reading level of an 11-year-old".
Of course, Tyson did much to further himself in that department while in prison, as he spent muh of his time reading the words of authors like Tolstoy, Hemingway, Nietzche, etc. Tyson himself says he read about a hundred different books while in prison...Credit to him, says I.
Still wouldn't call him an intelligent human being nowadays, but I would imagine the Tyson of today is considerly above the level of when Tyson "was considered by some members of the staff(Tryon School...Tyson's juvenile center) to be ******ed".
