vargas is **** and after his last few (more than 2) performances i wouldn't count on him to punch his way out of a paper bag.

Mora AINT **** and I am not a fan of his, but I'll take him over Vargas any day.

and yes i think that Mora could get a TKO over Vargas, especially late in the fight after he gases.

saying Mora can TKO Vargas is a bold statement, i know, but i also know that Vargas doesn't have much fight in him and he is especially not performing on a world class level anymore.

we'll see, i've been way more wrong than this before in my life. but i've also landed TONS of long shots!

if the fight happends you all can hold me to it! i will admit i'm wrong, but i don't think that i'll ever have too.............

This would be a GREAT fight for Mora, and i think he could win a decision.

Mora is not on the world class level. Vargas has faded and is far from the fighter he once was but I do believe he still has the skills to beat a light hitting Sergio Mora. I'm not saying Mora wont hurt him but I'd still put my money on El Feroz.

The fight being at 160 of course.

i wasn't saying that Mora was on a world class level, and i wasn't trying to associate him in that category.

i think Vargas is done and if he does beat anyone i think that it will be sub par opposition. if he did or were to beat Mora or someone who is one the rise, then i would give him credit but i would still be very doubtful about him resuming his boxing career. the same way i am about his career now. i think he's a shot fighter damaged goods.

and the thing about that is, Vargas might have a lot more in his tank, but the way he is being promoted and the way they are going to match him, he's going to be exploited.
kind of like the latter half of Tysons career. where they should've taken it easier on Tyson and built up his confidence fighting guys his size and taking the comeback road slow and easy, instead they tried to cash in on his name and make everything tyson did a ppv big money event. matching him against guys too big for a fragile lack of cofidence having fighter. even though the guys weren't on Tysons level so to speak, they had a advantage on Tyson with their size. but that's another case, it was bad match making.

and i think that's what they're doing and going to do further with Vargas, is match him up bad and try and cash in on his name. going for the buck instead of rehabilitating his career and mental state. and with that kind of management i wouldn't count on Vargas to do much in any of his fights to come, damn near no matter who he fights.........

Mora got 4 ko for crying out loud. Theres no way a 4 ko fighter will beat vargas by a stoppage even if vargas is shot. Vargas will easily beat mora. Mora got no defense at all.

Even mentioning Vargas to fight Mora is an insult to Vargas' name.

Mora has pretty fast hands, Mora wins. Vargas is pretty much done anyway.

Vargas is at a different level, he's much more experienced and fought very strong opposition... So Vargas by late KO IMO
