What was the greater accomplishment by a fighter:
Foreman's comeback, winning the title in his 40's...Ali's comeback, after a few years of exile, coming back to beat and regaining his title, beating Foreman, Frazier (II, III), Shavers, etc...Tyson winning the title at 20, and capturing all 3 titles...Marciano's 49-0 record

Yep I agree with you here. Ali for changing his style of boxing from slick boxer to a true boxer puncher.

its gotta be ali, but, theres alot of boxers can say they changed theyre styles and came back somethin better or shocked the world, and no 1 can say they retired undefeated heavweight champion of the world,so i would give rocky second,i voted 4 ali cause he is ali,and he is the greatest

I'd put Rocky's achievment of retiring as champion of the world and undefeated just higher than Ali coming back as a totally different fighter.

          Marciano then Ali.

This one is almost too tough to call between Ali and Foreman.

On one hand, the odds of Foreman coming back after a 10-year layoff to even become worthy contender were pretty long, but not only did he do that he took it all the way to winning a peice of the HW championship again. Enjoy it, because you will probably never see something like that again.

On the other hand, Ali came back after his exile and again became the dominant HW in an era that was loaded with talent ... Foreman, Frazier, Norton, Shavers, Lyle among others.

I think Marciano's accomplishment, while definitely noteworthy, came in an era of very small heavyweights and one where there wasn't a whole lot of talent around.

Tyson's accomplishment trails all of those, as he became the youngest champ in a pretty weak era.
