Your sig reminds me of watching Bound By Honor 2 or 3 times a week after school with my old girlfriend while getting high in her brothers lowrider.

Those were some good times. I used to know that movie in and out because some of the lines/accents were hilarious. It was the first and last time i ever dated a surena.

First off, EXCELLENT article! Though a few other fighters could have been included in the discussion, the main three debatable fighters are Gomez, Benitez and Tito. IMO, Gomez is the greatest, with Tito a close second and Benitez is third. Benitez just happen to be the fifth guy in an era that had SRL, Hearns, Hagler and Duran. Had he beaten SRL (and that fight was close going into the championship rounds) and at least drew Hearns (while it was a MD loss for Benitez, I think Hearns had that fight won unanimously) I might be inclined to move him into second place.

Tito Trinidad would've knocked Benitez into a McClellan-like state.

Lol, I like Tito, but no way he ever wins against Benitez!

I agree, very good list! Just like the author mentioned some fighters get lost in drugs and women, that was the case with Gomez and Rosario, too bad. I love Tito, how can you not like a guy who always gives it all, a very accurate brawler, but to be honest, his retirement after the winky fight got me a little disappointed. I still think he's better than Winky, but his commitment wasn't there anymore i think that's why he quit.
