Gomez had 44 wins with 42 KO's at superbantam and Benitez like Tito took on the best fighters of his generation.

I love Tito, I just have him at #3 but wont argue with him being #2 but not #1.
Dude, what the **** are you saying, blah, blah!

No seriously, I'm joking and laughing at those that go berserk in discussions. I agree about the diversity thing, that's why I say that Benitez and Camacho had better skills than Trinidad. Gomez and Benitez had more things in common than Gomez and Trinidad, although the power department is what causes many comparisons betwen the last two.

Yeah, which to me is a beautiful thing. I love watching his fights and see him put in early body work with such skill, determination and ferocity. Thats what I love about fighters like Cotto, Castillo, Hatton (early in his career).

Anyway, I think that the only thing that is unquestionable is that the top 3 (In no particular order) are: Benitez, Tito and Gomez.

Still man, Benitez didnt like getting hit, Gomez did, Benitez could fight going backwards, and didnt just throw himself at his opponents. Gomez had many fights were his face was swelled up just how Trinidad had many fights were he was knocked down.

Benitez was the best of the three when it came to defense, no doubt. I don't deny that. I agree with you Left2, these three should be the consensus top 3 of all time.

Gomez before going up a notch in the featherweights was 34 wins with 34 KO's.

                He's the greatest Superbantamweight ever.

                1. Gomez
                2. Ortiz
                3. Trinidad
                4. Benitez
