Most, if not all, or Margarito's past fights have been against Top 10 fighters in the WW division. After their defeat they were no longer Top 10. Cintron is about to fight for a title and if he wins he will avoid Tony like a plague. Shouldnt that tell u something right there? BTW, Tony is already a big name. Every commentator, magazine, and writer has been mentioning him. Fighting Williams would be like fighting Cintron back when everyone thought Cintron was the real deal. Beating down Williams will be another unproven prospect on his resume and another chance for haters to discredit his victories.

Rivera did call him out but wanted 1 mil to fight and i don't think wants to pay him 1 mil since he isn't too known. Samething happened with negotiations to make a fight with Williams, williams wanted more money im assuming 1 mil or two and theirs no way he can request that money.

Like you said when/if rivera defeats simms he can call out margarito.

I haven't seen or heard any links about Rivera asking for 1 mil to fight Marg. I've only heard reports from Marg's camp saying Williams priced himself out of the fight. I guess we have to ask Iceman about why that fight is happening yet because from what I've read, Rivera was more than willingly to put his strap on the line & fight him. Marg has his hands full in trying to beat Clottey which I see as a solid scrap for both.

Rivera, Collazo, Santos, Quintana, Williams, all called him out. Quintana doesnt even have a belt yet and hes fighting Cotto, what is Margaritos deal? He says everyone is advoiding him but only names Mayweather, and Cotto, both from weights below him who just moved up.. He said whoever at 154, but we all know hes not moving up, because he is just riding the media wave toward easy cash and fame. Plus last time he did he was smacked back down..

AT Btalk G.Leon says something about the reason why Margarito/Williams didint materialize had to do with being outbid during a purse bid. The fight is supposed to be on showtime, Williams is backed by AL Haymon who is backed by HBO. I knew that "williams outpricing himself" stuff was bull**** because it just didint make much sense, that explanation does.
