Lennox is getting better as is the whole team, what irritates me is kellerman trying to make lennox sound ******. Usally lennox say somthing followed by kellerman say, "i think what you mean blah, blah,..." but the over all team is getting better. I think lennox should just stop trying to sound smart as he's expected to and call it how he sees it instead of trying to sound intelligent.

Its funny how Margarito says that Clottey was the highest rated opponent for him to face at #5, then turns around and says that Williams is the #1 contender. Am I missing something? There were a couple champs who said they'd like to fight him (Rivera, Spinks) and he says Clottey was the highest rated? This guy is a joke and should be taken accordingly. Didn't he only get 40,000 buys for his last fight? Man, I'm getting tired of this guy.

40 thousand buys against a guy that many knew was going to lose. Before Mayweather fought Gatti or vice, versa, did they have a ppv of their own? No. So, why the hate on Margaritio.

Both Spinks and Rivera wanted more money then arum was willing to give them. And i think what he mean by clottey being highest ranked fighter, i think he mean, highest ranked fighter that was willing to negotiate a resonalbe deal. Its been said Williams wanted too much money for a Marqarito fight.

This guy is calling the shots over Spinks and Rivera? Thats why I have a problem with him. He has earned nothing and expects everything. Numerous people have told him that when he beats a legitimate opponent that he will be able to fight big fights for big money, yet he won't do it. Lets be realistic about this. Arum knows that Floyd is looking to fight big-name fighters not Margarito, so he starts calling Floyd out to fight Margarito and offers 8 million which Floyd is going to get fighting anybody. In the meantime, fighters hear about this and think they can get big money fighting Margarito. Arum knows he can't give them big money for fighting Margarito because Floyd was the one bringing in the big money. It was a ploy. It was a plan to get Margarito's name to the press and it worked, but now that good fighters are calling him out he's backing down. This guy wants a big fight without earning it, plain and simple.

I don't know how you can say he hasn't earned a shot at Mayweather or another top fighter.

You forget before Mayweather came to the welterweight division The Ring Magazine had Margarito at #1. And let me ask you besides Mayweather, besides Baldomier, if not Margarito then who stands at #1?

Margarito has years at welterweight, fighting other contenders which got him the recognition of top welterweight fighter.

Mayweather was worth the 8 mil cause after Margarito beats him, theirs more money for both.

And i aggree that now fighters expect to get paid more money, but they too have to realize they ain't a name fighter like Mayweather. I don't see how Margarito is backing down from top fighters, he's a welterweight, and jr. middleweight are calling him out, that a compliment. And its basicly jr. middleweight who have called out margarito when margarito has already made plans to fight clottey, a fighter some people belive can defeat margarito.

Yes, Margarito is a highly ranked WW (in a relatively unproven division), but not #1 for Mayweather. Floyd is at the top of his game and is looking to fight big names. All Margarito has to do to become a big name is beat Williams, who has become fairly popular and maybe a guy like Collazo or Zab. Then he will be a big name and be able to call some shots. Him earning his shot at Mayweather has little to do with them fighting. Floyd is still trying to climb the ladder in terms of popularity by fighting DLH/Mosley. and you just don't get that by going back down to fight a guy like Margarito.

Williams is so popular that even Mayweather ask "Who is Paul Williams?"

Beating Williams is actually a step back for Margarito. Margarito has gone through a lot of contenders like Williams and won. Now, its time he fights fighters like Mayweather or other recognized champions.

Fighiting Margarito is clearly not a step back as you say. Especially when the Ring and other known boxing magazines and boxing writers have put Margarito at least in the top 3 welterweights today.

More people are aware of Margarito then ever before and i will aggree its because hes' been calling out Mayweather. But lets also give Margarito credit for making his mark at welterweight even before Mayweather got to welterweight, this fact should not be ignored.

Most, if not all, or Margarito's past fights have been against Top 10 fighters in the WW division. After their defeat they were no longer Top 10. Cintron is about to fight for a title and if he wins he will avoid Tony like a plague. Shouldnt that tell u something right there? BTW, Tony is already a big name. Every commentator, magazine, and writer has been mentioning him. Fighting Williams would be like fighting Cintron back when everyone thought Cintron was the real deal. Beating down Williams will be another unproven prospect on his resume and another chance for haters to discredit his victories.

Mayweather had a multiple fight deal with HBO, Margarito's promoter had no taker for his bull**** title defense, so they had to PPV or not get it on TV at all.

True but it does't take from the fact that Margarito has had a ppv. And thought Mayweather had a multi deal with ppv as did Gatti, neither did ppv before they got together.
