Miranda was robbed

That's the only thing Miranda did in the fight that could be even considered dirty. But considering it wasn't done to hard I would look past it.
The dirtiest thing about that clip is you hear the ref in the background giving the fight to Miranda by TKO. Next thing you know he changes his mind and continues the fight. The only dirty people in this fight were the one's on Sauerland's payrole.Comment

I will like to add that I was neutral in this fight, so no nut-hugging from me, I have to agree with all the people that had Miranda winning the fight.
For the people that are neutral, please download the fight and you will see that Abraham supporters are wrong.

This is so true. I have seen more people come out of nowhere and post on this and other sites for the first time that are so frustrated with this fight and the people that defend it.
I AM a Miranda nuthugger (and proud of it!), but I know a lot of people in the sport of boxing that are unbiased and they all are no more than shocked at what took place. I really think if things were turned around I would say Yes Miranda got the win but it was a controversal one and a rematch would be fair. It is unreal to me that enough people are talking like Abraham beat the **** out of Miranda and it was not even close. Did these people watch the fight or do they just like to argue and pull **** out of there ass?
Abraham is in the hospital and according to the fight doctor he said he has never seen such a severe injury let go and was worried about the long term effects this will have on his career.Comment

its a given that Miranda was winning many rounds easy towards the end of the fight , but up until the broken jaw (i'd say about round 6, and where things got from sloppy to worse), things were in Abraham's favor, no question... i will also admit that Miranda made this a some-what close fight with his aggressive style and consistency throughtout 12 rounds
once again, wait till the rematchLast edited by restless_438; 09-27-2006, 12:48 AM.Comment
