miranda could've pressured abraham all he wanted, but most of miranda's punches were blocked. you dont win by throwing a lot of blocked punches.

Honestly, I was really unimpressed. I thought a lot of Miranda's shots were really slopped. He was good in the last three rounds, but he was fighting a guy that really couldn't afford to get hit at all, so that doesn't say much. If Abraham was in with a good fighter, he would have been out of there right after the doctor checked him in rd 5.

And he didn't fight for "only 20 seconds" of the round. You can make the case that he did that from round 9 onward, but not early, and not even so much during the middle rounds. Miranda was landing a lot of shots in 10,11,12, but unfortunately those are only three rounds, and since he didn't score any KDs, it doesn't do him many favours on the cards. There's no way this was a robbery. It was Miranda throwing away a fight any good fighter would have finished. There's no way it should go to the cards when your opponent has a freakish broken jaw, unless you're lacking in the skills department. People can complain about the ref all they want, but it's really irrelevant, because the fight never should have gone to the cards, and never should have been in the ref/judges hands.
I agree. Miranda had all the chances in the world to end this fight if he would have had any accuracy in his punches. The freakish broken jaw on Abraham should have been exploited by any top boxer. The jaw did not look like it would be able to take many clean shots.

I've posted my opinion enough in detail on other threads.
Summary: Yes, Miranda was robbed (twice). 1st - Was given the TKO and than ref changed his mind from Sauerland's pressure. 2nd - won more rounds and the points deductions were quick (only one warning) and too many. AA should also have lost points.

Abraham's career may have been ruined, physically and physiologically.

only career ruined was that of Miranda.

a BIG 1 in the Loss Column.

And now known as the fighter that couldnt stop and finish off an opponent with a broken jaw, WITH 6 GOOD ROUNDS LEFT.

that has to affect him alot more if u wanna talk about psycologically.

Googler and Vanes... to be honest I would have thought more of you two to be so biased to call Miranda a dirty fighter and disgraceful. You are so wrapped up in your ****ing country that you are blind to the truth and it's hard to listen to your opinions. After the BS **** that happened in the ring, Miranda held up Abraham's hand after Buffer giving him the UD and pointed #1. That's class!

You also have to be idiots to think all 5 points were deserved. How many times do you see 1 warning from a ref on a low blow and than points deductions for anything close. A ref always gives 2-3 warnings and sometimes more. There was 1 true low blow in all and far from intentional.

As far as the headbutt, even the ref was going to only give a warning and continue the fight until Abraham walked to his corner holding his head (good acting and smart for Abraham to do, may have saved him the fight).
Only than did the ref decide to deduct not 1, but 2 points.

So let's be real here. Miranda was NOT dirty and the ref was very biased. Notice I am not taking anything away from Abraham or his ability. Just very easy to see how the fight was impossible for Miranda to win.

Good thing for Abraham is people quickly forget what happen and just see a Win or a Lose for the fight.

Miranda is in great spirits, enjoying life, eating food, sleeping with his girlfriend. Abraham will be in the hospital for a week, mouth wired shut for many months, and not be able to box from what I heard for up to a year if ever again.

Miranda got robbed, Abraham keeps his belt.

You really are a blind fool. Whatever, enjoy the 'win'.

                    ok fine he wasnt dirty,

but you wanna talk class, stop the Germany bull****. Its the nature of the game man, of all sports. Home field and your fans behind you is somethin else.

If Miranda had the title in Colombia, and Arthur came in, he would have to do somethin real special to take it.

Well, Miranda came in, put up a fight, but not somethin SPECIAL ENOUGH to take the belt home.

just take it for what its worth, a GREAT fight, 2 guys that fought it all the way through, and only 1 could emerge victorious, and it was the one with more HEART in my opinion.

                    Hope to see a rematch.

his mouth will heal, and he will fight again - NO DOUBTTTT

Miranda on the other hand, will ALWAYS have that 1 in his loss column, and when he is sleepin with his girl he will think silently "why, why couldnt I stop a guy with a broken jaw and be a champ?? maybe i just dont have it"

HEART of a Champion my friend.
physical wounds heal alot easier than memories of lost battles.
