  • 2 Things Learned from Abraham-Miranda

    1) Miranda is a *****

    2) Taylor would beat both of these guys quite easily

Miranda fought pretty damn dirty considering he was in a fight that looked very winnable almost the entire time, but intentional headbutts and low blows lead me to believe he was just looking for a late knockout and not a points win. Very unsportsmanlike and reminded me a lot of Trinidad-Vargas as I still think Tito was fighting dirty just to slow Vargas down later.

Miranda looked very big next to Abraham, which tells me Abraham is going to have a hard time with Taylor. I won't even consider Miranda beating Taylor. All in all, this fight went just how I thought it would with Abraham showing he's better than a very overhyped guy.

For the last time, that headbutt wasn't intentional. The ref should have never taken 2 points for that. And Miranda wasn't intentianally trying to low blow Abraham.

the headbutt was like a guided missile. lol. intential i think

and abraham showed a TON of heart in that fight. a lot of guys woulda quit in that situation, but he was still fighting to win and not just survive

I don't think we can say how Abraham would do against Taylor, given that his style appears to be Winky Wright with power. (remember the problems Wright gave Taylor?)

For a guy to not only stay on his feet but also rock miranda on a number of occasions for seven rounds with a badly broken jaw is nothing short of remarkable.

Consider - Abraham was puking up blood from round five and still taking haymakers after that.

Taylor - gets a cut on the top of his head against Hopkins and says "ooooh, I feel a bit faint now. Is it okay if I cry?" <-------- and that's an ACTUAL quote.

If no rematch happens between Taylor-Winky, and Smurf-Miranda than they should each slipt up and fight each other where winners fight. Miranda-Taylor, Winky-Smurf? You know what I'm trying to say...

I think Jermaine could beat both of them even though I haven't seen the fight.

One thing that I learned was that I am looking forward to seeing either fighter fight again.
