azza-mc: lol, I was about to say the same thing on the Roy Jones topic...people like to rip on these guys, especially when they go down hill late in their careers, but they better cherish the memories because fighters like that are rare.
I just hoped for a long time that Floyd would have gotten rid of that "Gangsta" persona...if he would of acted more like Oscar or Ray, he would be making a lot more money, he would be more "main-stream"
If Floyd's personality is really like the "Gangsta" kids, then fine, but I never really bought into it...I just hope it isn't an act because if it is, he has limited his career

What are basing that on? Have you ever seen any OLD fights.. If you ask me.. We are in the midst of the richest talent of ANY era .. Fighters today are better trained, better managed , better educated, and Bigger.. This causes PARITY .. Its not that there is NOT ENOUGH talent today.. But rather TOO MUCH.. The Gap between the "Haves" and "Have Nots" is more narrow making it much harder for a fighter to stand out.. Which in PBFs case is quite amazing..
