Trinidad Offers 50/50 split at 160 to Oscar

I was on the Miguel Cotto website and they are talking about an article on b********.com that says that Trinidad making an offer with a 50/50 split at 160 to DLH. I dont have a subscription to that website so I can't see exactly what it says but from what I got from the cotto website, this is to show that DLH is the one that does not want the fight and all he has done is talk crap. They are changing their 7 year standing offer to this new one. There you go guys, what do you think?

The fight will not happen because DLH has always been a greedy person hiding behind his so called good guy image, when all he cares is money and not legacy. Trinidad is being greedy also, but I understand he does not want DLH to get the upper hand as usual.

Here is what the article says.

TRINIDAD SR: "TO SHOW THE FANS HOW MUCH OF A COWARD OSCAR IS, WE WILL ACCEPT 50-50!"
      By G. Leon

Moments ago Don Felix Trinidad Sr shocked ******.com when he told us that Team Trinidad's seven year old terms for the De La Hoya rematch have changed. "To show the boxing fans how much of a coward Oscar is, we would accept a 50-50 split on the money," stated Trinidad, "but the fight must be signed at 160."

the fights not gonna happen, both of them need to stop ****ing around.

De la hoya made Trinidad a fair deal.

They cant agree on a weight, they sure as hell arent going to come to terms on the money.

DLH has tons of money, he's been rich for ages. If he really wanted the fight for his legacy, he would agree to 50-50. Forget that Trinidad was OWNED! by Wright. There was a rematch clause back then that stated that the winner of the first match(controversial or not)would get the bigger purse in the second fight. I am not saying Trinidad deserves everything because I know he has not done much lately, but if the contract was there, DLH should be true to that original agreement. I don't give a damn about the money that each of them gets, since after all they will not give me one cent, but I do admit that I would like to see the fight and don't want to see it falls apart because of money.

            What are you talking about????
Fair deal? 73/30 hahahahahha guess again.

On the weight issue DLH has alrady stated that 160 was not a problem, he said he would come in lighter than that and let Tito be the slower person in the ring.

I have said this before, DLH does not want this fight, but insted of stating the obvious he starts to make excuses, contradictim himself and making himself look like a fool.

You don't call a retired boxer out and when he responds then think that he will fight for nothing compared to you. Tito is retired, do you get this point? Why call him out? We know the answer to this already.

I think 50/50 is fair. 160 was mentioned before and Oscar said it was ok. Why change everything? Are you getting the picture here now?

I have stated before I am a ODLH fan but his actions as of late are making him look bad.

Your missing the point, 160 weight was already out in the open and Oscar had said that 160 was no problem.

Fact is Tito has looked like garbage recently, and Oscar has done fairly well. Tito doesn't deserve 50-50 anymore regardless of the clause and thats why it wont happen. Anyhow I still think DLH will fight mayweather barring him losing to baldy. Tito is just there to make sure Oscar gets his 60 or 65 whatever vs Mayweather.

Oscar came at him with 70/30 and then he denied it and asked for 50/50.
