I read that muhammad ali sparred with one of angelo dundees fighters ( i think it was floyed paterson and if not him it was the heavy weight champ at the time) when he was only 16 and completly embarassed him. So much so that angelo dundee actualy stopped the sparring mach because he thought his fighter may get hurt.

i heard that wasnt true. Not sure where but i remember somebody telling me that it was complety made up.

james toney (225 approx) and danny green (175 approx) went 7 hard rounds at freddies gym.

green has not been the same fighter ever since... he took a beating.

It might be Roy Williams that you are thinking of but it didn't go down like you said . I could type up some of what Larry Holmes says about it if you want .
