"Antonio Tarver is at his best the 2nd time around. Only, there isn't going to be a 2nd time around. Tarver is great in rematches, but Bernard is going to do something that's going to have people begging me to stay."

This was Hopkins quoted sitting next to Tarver a month before their fight.

Hopkins beat Tarver like a drum, he does not deserve a rematch..

You must be joking I dont care how good Tarver is in rematches Bernard is in a level above him and would do exactly the same in the rematch, I would hate for Hopkins to come back because he doesnt need to he has proved everything to the critics he has won all he wanted to win,

Bernard is a Legend who not only beat but dominated the so called "Legend Killer"

hell yeah, tarver aint got **** on B-Hop and he is best served fighting guys that he can soundly beat, because after his lst fight with Hopkins he has no business in the ring. it's like he didn't even show up to fight.
tarver is just talking out his ass about a rematch because he knows that he'll never get a shot at Hopkins again, it's all marketing. he's waiting for the movie to drop before he fights again, because it's going to be big publicity, and you know he's going to fight a lesser fighter and they're going to hype his opponent up to make tarver seem like the savior of boxing.
