i honestly think barrera will fight pacquiao as his LAST fight or second to last fight before he retires, i honestly think, the reason why barrera aint fighting pac now is because he knows that pacman is a HUGE risk, the biggest fight out there for him and a fight that he has a very high chance of losing and a fight where he would be the underdog. now you have to understand, barrera aint got long left in the ring, next year will probably be his last, barrera is playin this smart, he aint scared of pacman, he knows he has nothing to prove in the sport of boxing, he has achieved all his goals and has even exceed his goals in boxing, however the only thing left for barrera in boxing that perhaps is keeping him motivated to fight is the rematch with pacman, and i honestly think, win or lose he will retire after that fight. i dont think barrera will leave the sport of boxing without facing pacman again, there is no one else out theire for him other than pacquiao.

When fighters face each other in fights such as the trilogy between Morales and Barrera they do command each others respect. In the case of Morales/Barrera the first fight alone was good enough for each fighter to respect one another! On some occasions the two fighters might hate each other or supposedly hate each other (obvious examples are Benn/Eubank, Ali/Frazier) but they will always respect one another. If you asked Benn does he respect Eubank the answer would be 'Yes' and if you asked Frazier does he respect Ali the answer would be 'Yes.'
Simple as that.
