WTF are you talking about, he didn't have speed in the amatuers?

You know nothing...as you age, you get stronger, and your reflexes can become faster if you practice...ever notice why athletes are better in there 20's compared to when they are teenagers.

Jones speed was so slow in this fight, that is why he didn't win Gold

For Jones as a boxer, he should of had a better trainer growing up...he an his trainer are lucky Roy was so naturally talented.

Jones and Ali got away with so much it really is amazing

I agree 100%, Roy's athletic talent allowed him to beat technically superior fighters in JT (one of the most skilled fighters of his generation) and Hopkins (another extremley skilled and wiley fighter).

Edited for spelling I put be instead of beat

Roy without a doubt, he made both Bernard Hopkins And James Toney(both of who I got alot of respect for) look like amatuers. The guy was so athletic, he MADE his style look like one you'd want to try to learn. But, true his skill wasn't all that great but in the talent department, P4P, Roy Jones Jr. was on top.

hands down the best fighter of the 90's to me was Sweet Pea Pernell Whitaker.

But in terms of who is the most gifted fighter, that is hands down Floyd Mayweather jr.
