So much speculation about Cotto's Dec. 2 foe, but I fear it will not be as good a fighter as Collazo.

Harris is an option because the Urkal fight fell apart as did Harris' latest bout. However, Arum vs. Shaw (re: Corrales-Castillo III) will probably prevent it.

Collazo is not likely because it would require another Arum-Don King co-promotion and this card is all about Top Rank. I don't expect the Don to sell off Collazo for one night in a fight that King can't promote himself. However, it would make alot of sense for Collazo because nobody wants to fight him--what other big fights, hell, what other fights, period, are out there for him? And he could win the fight and become a star.

Cotto's opponent will probably end up being the other Clottey because nothing else will be worked out with the time frame and money limitations that a Showtime card (with Margarito also on the bill) present.

Cotto would win this fight. Collazo is good but is over estimated by his performance against Hatton. Hatton just isn't that great and will struggle against any good competition like Collazo.

With that said, Cotto will be at a more comfortable weight for him and has much better boxing skills than Hatton. Cotto has also faced slick southpaws and has done well against them. Cotto would've KO'd Malignagi if he had not hurt his hand.

Cotto by mid-round KO however I would prefer to see Cotto versus Williams or Margarito.

ROFL.....me? If your referring to my Hatton stuff yeah I admit it. Its just the hyping him up that put me off to him a bit. I like him as a fighter but I see him as Gatti-like in which his heart compensates for many of his diffencies. I also believe that Hatton has gotten the most out of his god given talent. Yeah, he has more talent than Gatti but, I just think that when he steps up against Elite fighters he will lose and when he steps up against good fighters he will struggle. Thats it in a nutshell.

As far as Cotto is concerned I think Zab, Quintana and PBF would be the harder fights for him than Margarito, Williams or Collazo. Boxers with solid power will be difficult for Cotto.

Collazo has shown a tendancy to stand flat footed at times.

Well, Hatton's got the better of the best amateurs in the world and the best professionals in the world. He's never lost at junior-welter in his life.

              I think it's nationalistic.

Collazo isn't very good. The guy had free hits for 12 rounds in his last fight and still lost..

Cotto will be a Beast at 147, with no more killing himself to make weight.
