lol wow you guys have no reading comprehension. Im saying that had he LASTED the rest of the fight and not gotten careless in the 9th round, he COULD have outpointed Baldomir. Go read my original post before you pimply anime loving nerdy asses pass judgement. I just made a mistake by saying 9th instead of 8th, OBVIOUSLY he didnt win the 9th he got Ko'ed, morons.

Gatti had nothing figured out. An "I figured him out too late" guy does talk about retirement after a loss. He admitted Baldomir was too big.

Baldmoir walked him down. Gatti couldnt move him with his best punches.

he was KDd twice in the 9th, i had it at 6-2 for baldy. giving gatti the benefit of the doubt, the final score wouldve been 114-112 for baldy, thats assuming that gatti wouldve won the remaining rounds (highly unlikely at the rate he was fighting).

its not that he got careless, he was overpowerd. theres a big BIG difference.

you can be overpowered and still win a fight. Obviously Gatti couldnt budge Baldy and probably wouldnt have won on points, but until he got sloppy in the 9th(keep in mind BEFORE THE KO's, duh) he could have maybe pulled it out with some home cooking. Toney couldnt budge Peter either but that doesnt mean he shouldnt have won.

Anyway, the point being that if a guy like Gatti could theoretically outpoint/draw baldomir then theres no way Mayweather loses.

He had baldomir figured out and was running rings around him like mayweather will be doing, but he got lazy in the 9th. Give him the first as well, and youve got 6 rounds to 6, plus home cooking for Arturo.
I'm not at the fight but I guess where ever you are you'll see the same thing. Maybe it's just a matter of your inclinations.

Gatti couldn't have won the 9th to 12th rounds because he was tiring fast. The effect of the punches he received earllier already took it's toll on Gatti's body by the 9th. In fact Baldo is not going for a knock out, he was also tired at that point, he just saw an opening that's why he went for it.

My point is Gatti didn't simply got lazy, the guy got tired.

Mayweather has too much handspeed and quickness on his feet and body movements for Baldomir. Mayweather should just box him. Judah was actually beating him, and Gatti could have one but he is a brawler. Floyd really should be careful if he gets stuck in a corner cuz Baldomir may try to break down his body and hammer away.

Baldomir was thinking of retirment after Judah fight now he is trying to get the biggest pay day in his career if he won Mayweather he may call out Oscar De La Hayo for sure because the guy is trying to retire rich for sure
