Baldomir has proven to be one hell of a fighter, but having a shorter reach and being slower will make it very tough. Mayweather by UD.

I have been a Urango fan since I first seen him years ago. I didnt become a fan that night, im a loyal fan. He didnt look impressive in that fight at all but if you watch it closely you will see Ben Rabah did pretty much nothing but play defense the second half of the fight, like De La Hoya-Trinidad but he ran for more rounds than DLH. Ben Rabah still may have deserved the decision but he didnt get it and Urango did, period.

And Urango is going to beat Hatton. Hatton dont fight like Ben Rabah who gave him problems, Hatton will be in front of him to hit. Urango is going to upset Hatton.

So make fun of me for being a Urango fan after he KO's Ricky Hatton.

Baldomir isn't really that much bigger... Maybe 0-1 inches. Mayeweather is way too fast and evasive for Baldomir. Mayweather will jump in, throw 4-5 punch combos and bounce right back out and Baldy won't know what hit him.

          Mayweather wont do that.
Are you joking? I really hope so because that was what I would have to call an idiotic post.

I thought Baldy was actually shorter than Mayweather, but with a wider frame. I think I read that Baldy was 5'7 and Floyd 5'8. Agreed that Floyd will hit him with fast combinations and be gone before Baldy can hit him cleanly.

lol i dont mean height. Baldomir walks around at 180 pounds and Mayweather who began his career at 130 has never fought anyone that big. At 147 Mayweather has beat Mitchell and Judah, two good but small welterweights who were former jr. welterweights. Baldomir is by far the biggest man Mayweather has met.

I guess I have never really counted how big of a frame someone has... Height is the only thing I integrate into the equasion because you can always take advantage of your height if you are taller.

My opinion is this...Baldomir is good. Beating Judah and Gatti were good wins. But Floyd Mayweather Jr. is not Judah or Gatti. Hes the best fighter in this sport(talent wise) and hes in his prime. Hes not past his best like Gatti, hes not unfocused and unprepared like Judah. Floyd is always prepared to fight, I see this as Mayweater by UD.

well unlike you you arrogant piece of crap, i was at the fight. Had Arturo continued hitting the jab accurately like he did in the 8th, he would have won the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th. He had baldomir figured out and was running rings around him like mayweather will be doing, but he got lazy in the 9th. Give him the first as well, and youve got 6 rounds to 6, plus home cooking for Arturo.

Of course he can win.Hes a world class fighter so of course he can beat Mayweather. But theres a big difference between can and will.Mayweather is too sharp too skilled to lose to Baldomir in my opinion. This fight im still contemplating if i think it will go the distance i dont believe it will.
