Somebody posted up a few weeks back, Frank Warren talking about a bunch of fighters.. it was a recent interview, I just remember him saying that PBF was the better fighter and would beat Hatton.

Woods doesnt deserve 1.5 million for beating Johnson. A mill at most as a retirement fight.

out of interest. do you get paid a set amount then minus costs? or is that a set amount a figter gets?

he's still not very marketable and is unlikely to get a big money fight straight away. so if he's planning on fighting for another few years, maybe he'd have a better chance of getting prestigious opposition as a unified champion - a low earning but high risk fight against erdei, adamek or tiozzo could lead to better things.

First of all. Clinton Woods should stay clear of Calzaghe. Not because i think he`s gonna lose ( i think Calzaghe will hammer him ) but the reason is Calzaghe delays fights, pulls out of fights and messes other people around. Woods should look to unify agaisnt other champions at LHW.
There are some guys like Tiozzo and that Polish guy who Woods would have a good chance against.

Quite right. I hear Calzaghe goes through his home town punching walls just so he can delay fighting the likes of Lacy and now Woods.

Anyway, you have to admire Woods' front. £1m for finally not losing against a supposed top level fighter. Seems a nice enough bloke like so I hope he gets it, but that's a lot of cash for somebody nobody is really interested in or is a real top level fighter.
