Hamed vs Morales

Precisely. Hamed has his place. MAB and Morales have their place.

So now can we put an end to "MAB OWNED HIM LOLS". Its a different era of boxing the time they fought, as far as im concerned.

MAB fought him at the right time, it seemed as though Naz was more concerned about his ring entrance than the fight.

If the fight was to happen in 1997.. say after the fight with Tom Johnson, (If it hadn't been for MAB's losses to Junior Johnson) Nas could have quite clearly decisioned him.

Atleast that's how I see it.

As far as I remember, Naseem Hamed used to call all and sundry out on a regular basis. It just so happens that when one of those people (Marco Antonio Barrera) finally got tired of it and challenged Hamed to put up or shut up, Hamed was shown up in embarrasing fashion and lost all of his lustre after that. Erik Morales would have put a beating on Naseem, stopping him in about 6-7 rounds.

this thread tought me a few things,i didnt really know naz was that feared or really was a huge name,i wasnt really into boxing when he was around,i like him thou after watchin some of his fights,and it makes me happy that he was feared by 2 great fighters like mab and morales

And who did Naz fight in the mid nineties ?
Nobodies. bums. Just look at his record from 92 to 96. I dont recognize one name excpet Medina and ALicea.

I was a nipper when Naz was fighting, but I caught up, my father has always been a boxing fan, and at about 13/14 I got into it.

Since then, the internet has been my best friend when it comes to boxing history.

You can see in his eyes for the MAB fight that he was nervous or scared or both.

Morales would have kicked Hameds ass . I dont think Hameds style woulda worked agaisnt a good boxer like Morales. Morales has the chin to take Hameds punches so there would be no way Hamed could win a UD.
