And who did Naz fight in the mid nineties ?
Nobodies. bums. Just look at his record from 92 to 96. I dont recognize one name excpet Medina and ALicea.
Who did Barrera fight or Morales fight?

In 1998 in the build up to the Naz-McCullough fight 3 days beforehand Naz held an open workout for the media, and all the other fighters on the card did too... Barrera was on the card.

Absolutely nobody turned up to watch Barrera and the rest. The media came out in full force and the room was packed by the time Naz was there training... Naz called the shots. Naz put his music on, answered the questions he wanted to answer and did what he wanted. There was a man in there from a British tabloid newspaper who got embarrased that day also... because of his hater attitude. But thats another story.

Perhaps that says something about the draw Naseem Hamed was, and how these "bums" you speak of were drawing more attention from boxing fans than Barrera was fighting "megafights" as I guess you would put it...

90s Featherweight Boxing. Prince Naseem Hamed. End of story.

I dont like Jones either. I agree. Most , half and almost all of Jones opponents have been club fighters.

Thing with Naz is he showed his true colors after losing to MAB. Real champions would have gotten right back up but he went in to hiding. Couldn't show face. Didnt he have one more fight then called it quits...i dunno for sure.

It's not like took a beating in the MAB fight. He got more humiliated more than anything.

For whoever said Morales had the chin not to be affected by Naz's power, that's bull****.

Naz was quite possibly the hardest pound for pound puncher in boxing at that time, period, no fighter in the same weight division could have took a direct punch on the button from Naz and shake it off, not even Morales.

I agree that Barrera or Morales wouldn't of lived with the Hamed of '94/'95.

"Most definetly, I fear none of them. Basically when I fight them, they gonna get beat, just like the rest. Im not going for long boring 12 rounds. The crowd want excitement, they wanna be entertained. Im a fighter and a ****er too. Im not braggin' or anything but im just too good."

Yeah he won the title back that he missed out on by losing to Barrera. And then got booed out of the arena. And then September 11th and him being a ******... then nothing since.
