no, its because he isnt really that old. what is he? mid 70's???

i mean, thats old and all, but my grandpa is in his 80's and he talks fine. thats all u could ask for. nobody expects him to walk around or anything. he's old, it happens.

its upsetting because he cant even talk. a guy that was once the greatest athlete in the world, and was once the single most famous person in the world, is now reduced to what u just saw

Hey, no doubt its very sad, but im not an Ali fan in the boxing sense. I can dislike Alex Rodriguez but still feel sorry for his misfortune.

I keep forgetting most of you guys weren't around to see him fight live.

I was an Ali fan before I was a boxing fan...and it does pain me to see him in his current state because I can still remember seeing him on television telling all of us kids to "mind your momma and daddy, brush your teeth, and stay away from dope."

Anyway, I heard someone, I can't remember who, say what I'd posted earlier and it stuck with me...even though it was directed at the generation before me; the Baby Boomers who were there for All of Ali's career.

My grandfather died at 77 & he couldn't even remember who I was, ALi was the greatest of all time, **** he ****in' coined the phrase, & if it wasn't for all the fights he was in he wouldn't be a legend, but everything comes with a price. KDogg is right also, you better take a real hard look at this legend, cause sooner or later we'll all have face old age & death, but we wont be as lucky to have such a legacy for the world to remember us by.

As for what the post was originally about, I don't think any straight man could look at Mariah Carrey and not want to do unimaginable things to her, well you can imagine, that about all we can do

Damn lifes a ***** and for someone to be the greatest he got a raw deal!
He lived life to its fullest and achieved things no man has ever done.
He was physically perfect, married 3 times (i think). He aint complaining.

It could of been much worse and he knows it.

it's crazy, i feel like ali's life is basically a perfect picture example of life itself, you start out with dreams and ambitions, you achieve them and reach the very peak of your life, then it all comes down crashing hard but in the process humbilizing you and making you understand life better and what "fame" and "glory" really means. an even better example is wilfredo gomez who is now living in a trailor park in puerto rico.
