Ali was great in his time. But he was too conceited.

Look at his contemporaries Foreman and Frazier and you will see the value of being humble.

Foreman was a force at 46. Frazier is healthy and in one piece.

Remember, Ali's mind is fine; and he has no problem with his physical affliction. The reason it pains us to see a man who once moved so beautifully to be reduced to one who needs help to walk up stairs, and to hear a man who once verbalized better than Don King to be reduced to a whisper....is that it reminds us of our own mortality.
