His last trip outside the US resulted in him getting utterly shafted out of a Gold Medal. Can't blame him for never wanting to leave.
Benn, Nunn and Liles would of taken place in the US.
And Eubank was the biggest payday out there for him by miles, which is why he wanted to come here for it before Eubank lost I don't blame him for not wanting the Eubank fight when Eubank made his comeback though and was calling for it, even though it was still the biggest payday out there, because it was a dodgy one and Eubank had two losses already (and wasn't a big name in the US).
At this present time its Roy. As good as Floyd is right now Roy was better he was untouchable there wasn't a trainer that could come up with a strategy to even win a round against him. Where as Floyd was almost knocked on his ass by Chop-Chop. Although Zab didn't get credit for it he, technically he knocked him down in there fight and, also knocked him across the ring. Regardless of what people say about James Toney condition when they fought, at that time James was what Roy became. The best pound for pound fighter on the planet and he got his handed to him. I don't Floyd has faced an opponent that can be considered on his level.
With that being said, when its all said and done I think you may have to rank Floyd higher than Roy because he has the one thing Roy did not have, big name opposition surrounding him in his weight class. Floyd has the chance to beat Cotto, Hatton, Oscar, Mosely, Williams, and thats on top of the other big names he's already defeated. So prime for prime I'd give it to Roy all day but, career stats and legacy if Floyd stays hungry and true to his word about making the biggest fights he will end up ahead of Roy.

Damn, great point referring to Zab knocking down Floyd to the point where he had to balance himself on the canvas with his glove -- I think there are definitely a good number of people out there who forgot about that minor stat, well said.
If this were Around the Horn (with Max Kellerman of course, not Tony Reali's wack ass), you'd get a solid three points, easy.

Look at his feet. He's standing straight over his feet and they're about 4 feet apart because he was lunging in to the body. He had no lateral balance, and Zab hit him falling away from Mayweather. Knocking him across the ring hardly. That's like saying if I pushed you from wall to wall from behind I knocked you across the room. Very weak. Was it a KD, yes, was it anything mroe than balance, no. Roy he the deck vs Del Valle, who is no one compared to Judah. And that was a legit KD after getting caught flush on the chin.
RJJ athletic skill, power, and talent, and raw speed.
FMJ: boxing skill, ring smarts, chin, a hundred times more adaptable in adjustement and types of style that he can employ.
Roy only needs one style of fighting. His problems have been his refusal to let his hands go recently. Thats nothing to do with style, just a mental thing.
