      skills... mayw
      talent... jones

the combination of speed and pop of roy
      the technique of floyd

are both going to be measuring stones for a long time

and both have tremendous ring IQ, but that I would give the gold for that to bernard hopkins, who managed to be champ at 40 without the natural talent of jones or mayw.

oh and I guess that when all is said and done, floyd will go down as the best. consider that if he beats baldy he will be THE champ in a 3rd weight divisions. Not a beltholder in 3 div: the man who beat the man in 3 divisions.

ROY JONES JR. was practically invincible before the Tarver fight.

it is sad that Eubank and Benn are around during his prime and wasnt able to fight them. regardless he was awesome in his prime

Maybe it's too early to render judgement because PBF is still fighting in his prime BUT at the moment I'll pick RJJ taking the quality of opponents as the point of refference.

Just watch the Corrales and Gatti fights and tell me who was more skilled and talented than Floyd Mayweather, EVER?

                      Well said.

At this point, Roy's career sets him apart.

Floyds still got a lot left in him, so the question is premature.
