Oh stop with your excuses and crying, barrera didn't use his gloves in the 3rd morales fight and still beat morales. I'm sick of the gloves crap. If a fighter is a hard puncher then he has no problem of wearing anygloves. And isn't barrera the champion? doesn't the champion usaully get to decide which gloves should wear? but anyway like i said if rocky has the punch power then he will have no problem of beating barrera in any boxing gloves.

I'm notmaking any excuses, but if that is true and they don't matter than why would Barerra care what gloves Juarez wore and negotiate the contract to keep him from wearing them. I am a fan of both guys, that just makes me stop and think.

When you have good strong power it just dont matter what type of gloves you use. if that was the case wouldnt every fighter want to use the Reyes gloves, since it's such an advantage.

Technically yes. But don't discount the psychological effect. Boxing is not just a physical sport, so preparation is not just for physical soundness, it also requires fighters to be mentally or psychologically 100 % comes fight night.

If you're a competitor in any sports you would always prefer using the equipments that you got accustomed with, right? As in shoes for the marathon runners and racket for the tennis players. Using something that's new to you will always have an adverse effect in your mindset. So meaning you're not coming in 100%.

There will always be different prefferences depending on reasons, but what is most important on gloves is how it fits and how it feels on the fighters wearing it.

it will more handicap juarez rather than barrera coz we all know rocky is the bigger puncher than barrera..
