He doesnt have to wear gloves and Barrera will wear him down in the end anyhow, if Barrera goes to the body he wil slow Juarez right down and then it will be the beginning of the end

Oh stop with your excuses and crying, barrera didn't use his gloves in the 3rd morales fight and still beat morales. I'm sick of the gloves crap. If a fighter is a hard puncher then he has no problem of wearing anygloves. And isn't barrera the champion? doesn't the champion usaully get to decide which gloves should wear? but anyway like i said if rocky has the punch power then he will have no problem of beating barrera in any boxing gloves.

If it makes no difference, then why change it in the first place?

I doubt that the champion has the say on the gloves per se, but the fact that it can be done is bull****. If Barrera has said that, what makes anyone think that this will be an exercise in erasing the controversy of the first fight?

Look, I expect it to be a better fight, and Barrera to box better and be better prepared for Juarez, and if Juarez isn't prepared to adjust and raise his game then that's his tough ****. What I don't like is this insurance mentality that seeks to take a plus away from a fighter for no good reason.

That made me thinking, it does make a sense.

But I doubt if that's true. We all know that it's already legal to use any brand of the fighters' choice not unless Rocky signed a contract stipulating the brand of gloves to be used.

not really because clearly juarez is the one with the power to hurt barrera but he took barrera shots cleanly.....but in any case maybe barrera had nothing to do with it thats what promoters are for to always seek an advantage over their opponent....damn them but juarez will still prevail....

When you have good strong power it just dont matter what type of gloves you use. if that was the case wouldnt every fighter want to use the Reyes gloves, since it's such an advantage.

Bitchin' left hook. Juarez by KO this time. There will be no Pac-MAB II fight. There will be a Juarez-Pac fight, though.
