I do not, however, think this fight will be as easy as some do. Floyd's very gifted; but Baldomir's a throwback. His attitude alone is going to make this a hard fight for Floyd. He's been around too long and fought too many guys to give Floyd the kind of respect some of his opponents have. This is gona be a good fight.
I feel you, Baldomir's a tough opponent & has a better shot of beating Floyd then Margarito IMHO, but you know how it is when it comes to Floyd his opponents are tough until he wipes the floor with them, then they become bums to the majority of PBF haters, I'm just hoping people are supporting Baldomir for his talent, not just cause he's their next hope of stopping PBF. Personally speaking I still think Judah has the skill to be a player in the WW division, although some call him a bum.

Well, obviously, some are rooting for Baldomir because he is the "anti-Floyd"; but, personally, I'm behind him because of what he represents....some guy who has busted his ass for years trying to get noticed, to get a title shot, and made the most of it when he did. He's old school in every conceiveable fashion...and I respect the hell out of that.

If you lived in the 1940's and watched Jake LaMotta and Ray Robinson both train in the gym, you'd probably want to bet the house on Ray, but come fight night the larger, aggressive swarmer with tons of intangibles on his side, heart being one of them, performs very well for his apparent lack of athleticism. Baldomir is Mayweather's LaMotta. I'm not saying Baldomir is the same class of opponent as the Bronx Bull, but he is a larger framed, very aggressive guy who's harder to hit and harder hitting than his record indicates.

I see this fight as being very close, the victor winning by a round or three.
thats a ****** analogy because Ray Robinson beat the hell out of Lamotta 5 out 6, 2 of which i have seen on my computer, i dont understand what your point is using that, of course id have bet the house on Ray Robinson, infact, im sure alot of people did, and won.

Mayweather comes pretty prepared in every fight and know what to do if he is on the ropes where most slick boxer cant.

All do respect for Baldomir for climbing top the ladder while many other fighter have it easy to have title shot but Mayweather is different than Gatti and Zab. He is another fighter and you hard ever see him stunt because he got good defense, as well as speed to deal with.

size is weird thing that people say Baldomir is huge since Gatti fight but when i seen him stand side to side with Floyd Floyd is a bit taller. Gatti was never a tall fighter to begin with so dont make size fool you

baldy needs to stalk PBF and needs him to stay in front of him and not let PBF use his footwork against him coz if that happens he is for a long night..

Well, about Floyd whooping them then they become bums, that's not the case.

Floyd has beat some of the best fighters in the sport.

              Diego Corrales
              Jose Luis Castillo
              Carlos Hernandez
              Genaro Hernandez
              Jesus Chavez

but....after that, before he even fought the people he fought, they were considered C level fighters...

              Corley...he's nothing great..
Judah just lost to a 16-1 underdog...anyone wiht a brain should have known he ain't great after that..
              N'Dou ... nothing great
              Bruseles.... who?
              Mitchell....wayyyy past his best..
              Gatti....overrated bum...

The most important thing I think will be can Baldomir bother Floyd with his power. If he can't I think Floyd will only have to worry about Baldomir being on him all night. I'm sure Floyd knows how he can win this fight. Floyd is smarter, quicker, and very good on his feet, and he has very good defense. Judah was beating Baldomir until he got caught.

Can't really blame Floyd for those fights. Name one BIG NAME opponnet he could have fought at the time instead of those indviduals.

As far as im concerned the only fight I knock floyd on is the Sosa fight he should have fought Lazcano and to this day I say he ducked him.

Hehe, Pinnaclesports currently has Baldy at +486 so for those of you absolutely convinced he'll pull off the upset of the year, it's time to put some $$$ down.
