he has no charisma to draw people... he is just another gangsta wannabe...

the fact remains that the way PBF handles the media and reporters will cost him big. The media is what makes an athlete a star and PBF aint in there fav list

You can promote the fight with floyd all you want.

The fact of the matter is DLH sells 1 million PPVs by himself basically.

Trinidad sells easily 400,000+ by himself.

Floyd has trouble filling up an Arena sometimes how is he going to all of a sudden attract the same amount of fans Trinidad can provide to pony up the dough.

Some posters here are saying that "experts" are saying DLH vs Floyd could be the biggest non-HW fight ever..... DLH vs Trinidad 1 is already the biggest NON-HW fight ever. DLH has kept his popularity but makes more money and Trinidad became an even bigger name since their first fight.

They sold 1.4 Million PPVs then.... The math is easy,

DLH brings 1 Million buys, Trinidad brings 600,000 Buys. Floyd cant touch even half of Trinidad's popularity.

PPV sales isnt about how good of a fighter u are, how great a fight is going to be, or even the significance of the fight. Its a popularity contest and Floyd isnt in their league in that aspect. Thats just the truth.

In his last two PPV's Floyd has sold 350,000 buys each. Tito sold 440,000 against HOPKINS. That is not a huge gap considering Floyd is getting more exposure lately while Tito has gotten none in over a year. The story of Oscars last fight against the best in the sport is more appealing than his last fight being against a guy who he should have beat and hasn't fought since he lost in May 2005. I would have loved to see Trinidad-DLH about 3 years ago, now I wouldn't waste my money.

Come on You know the 350,000 buys against Gatti were mostly Gatti's.

And The Judah vs Floyd one (if that was even a PPV fight) was a joint effort.

When Trinidad fought Hopkins and sold 480,000 PPVs Hopkins was nobody name wise. Which proves his selling power. Even after beating him it took DLH's great marketing to make him into a PPV selling fighter. And even then he only sold 350,000 against Taylor also a joint effort with Hopkins carrying the lions share of course but not by much.

True, but that means that 350,000 for the Gatti fight and 350,000 for the Judah fight paid to see a fight and got to see a great performance by Floyd. What makes you think those people wouldn't pay to see another? Tito on the other hand disappointed over 400,000 people that bought his last couple fights. Tito has a big name, but has faded. It will be easier to tell how Mayweather stacks up after the Baldy PPV.
