He's not the first. Gene Fullmer, Jake LaMotta, **** Tiger, and Carmen Bassilio all hit a hell of a lot harder than their KO%'s indicated. In their cases at least, it's because they fought very high quality competition.

baldy fought truck drivers and janitors before he fought zab and gatti. so it wasnt his quality of competition thats the result of low KO percentage.

if this guy is so big and powerful (so much so he can stop arturo gatti), why isnt his record chalked full of knockouts? he has the style of a puncher and hes aparently a pretty big welterweight, so why only 13 knockouts?

he is powerful, just not a big puncher. he'll push your around, take your best, and wear you down with a lot of pretty strong punches until your done. if he was such a big puncher, y didnt he put zab down?

hes great as an insider fighter, or a bully fighter, but his actual punch isnt all that great.

Well Baldomir said before the Gatti fight that his career took a turn when he started focusing as of recently before the gatti fight, or somthin like that. like that movie cinderella man, he kind of got a second wind for the sport..

How come Jake Lamotta has 30 KO's in 83 Fights? he was known as a puncher.

Baldy is like Emmuanel Augustus in fighting style they only want to wear you down and break you up through out the fight. So the hit you a little bit and back off.

simply he is the "cinderella man" his dream has came true, and you will all see the KO when he puts Floyd to sleep.
