    Toney's Next Fight?

Toney had a draw with Rahman, then a controversial lost to Peters. The performance he gave against Peters was impressive. Most critics, reporters, and fans believed Toney should have gotten the decision.

But who should Toney fight next?
Should he face another top 10 fighter or just go straight for a world title against any of the Eastern European champs?
    How would he do against?
    -Maskaev
    -Valuev
    -Klitscko
    -Liakhovich

Well he realy didnt look that impressive to me in his last two bouts...He needs to train a lil harder and fight some more top 10 guys before he goes for the champs. He just is'nt srong enough to hurt any of the white champs. Their all massive compared to him. He should fight brewster, ibragimov, McCline, etc... in his next fight and try and line up a 2007 title fight. But hes too old and too fat to train properly. My bet is this will be the last time we see him in a big fight. He just couldnt deliver when needed., but his career is like that anyway

I think he did pretty good and I have no questions about his chin. I dont think any these champions are in a hurry to fight toney he's going to have to become a mandatory, toney is just to slick and hard to hit.

I don't believed his too old as a fighter but ur right, his too fat. Comparing his fight agaisnt Rahman, Toney's performance was impressive against Peters.

As far as the world champs, i think Toney has a chance to beat Maskeav and Liakhovich. If Toney can take the hard punches of those 2, Toney can out box them to a decision, assuming 2 of those judges are not the one in the Toney-Peter fight.

Man, people say this ****, but I find a natural middleweight who got up to heavyweight and really did beat a natural 230+ pound heavyweight IS impressive.

After the fight with the "biggest puncher in the heavyweight division", Toney looked exactly the wayhe did before the fight. Peter left with frustration, a collapsed nasal passage, and blod streaming from his nose.

            That **** IS impressive.

as much as i'd like to see the rematch, it's not going to happen anytime soon.. so for Toney, i'd like to see him maybe look to one of the following:

                Lamon Brewster
Serguei Lyakhovich (except that he's tied in with Briggs for Nov)
Nikolay Valuev (except that he's tied in with Barrett for Oct)
Calvin Brock (except that he's tied in with Wlad for Nov)

now if there was any possible way he could get down to 200:
                Johnny Nelson
                O'Neil Bell
